Design for AniMate: A dating and social app for pet-parents
AniMate is a dating app designed for pet parents—you can chat with and meet up with like-minded pet parents and their pets, or even sign up as a non-pet parent if you’re looking to date someone and co-parent! AniMate follows the same rules as other dating apps where you swipe left and right—but it comes with additional features like the Blind Date, where the user must swipe only by judging the picture of their pet.
With its saturated color palette and playful illustrations, AniMate is ideal for anyone who is looking for a fun-loving and of course, pet-friendly date. There are also features like the Date Log that allows you to keep track of the dates that you’ve met through the app—and also log the quality of your date with the app’s icon system. Lastly, AniMate is a social app built to keep the user connected to other users of app. It includes a Newsfeed section that allows users to scroll through the success stories of their friends once they meet someone through the app and incentivizes them to meet people and post their own.
